Would like to thank the Conestoga Booster Club for having their annual golf outing on Saturday.  Congrats to the Rodis team who took 1st place with a smooth 54. And thanks to all who came out to play  and support the Booster Club. With 15 team playing it was another great turnout for a very fun filled tournament. Look forward to hosting this tournament again next year.

Would like to thank the Plattsmouth High School Class of 1973 for choosing Lake Ridge to host their class reunion on Saturday night. The food was awesome and everyone had a great time.

The Plattsmouth Harvest Festival Golf Fundraiser scheduled for Jun 30 has been cancelled. We will have OPEN GOLF all weekend long, so please book your tee time today.

ROAD CLOSURE DETOUR 

Murray Road is now closed until sometime in the fall. As a result you will need to take a minor detour to get to Lake Ridge. For those not familiar with Beaver Lake when you exit HWY 75, turn EAST onto ROCK BLUFF ROAD. Then turn RIGHT onto MONROE ROAD and then LEFT onto BEAVER LAKE BLVD. Follow the road around until you get back to MURRAY ROAD and turn LEFT.  Your back on the right road to get to your favorite golf course and restaurant. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but  this is out of our control. We have maps located between the Men’s and Ladies bathrooms for your convenience.

TEE TIMES FOR JULY 4TH

Tee times for July 4th  are filling up fast. Tee times from 9:10 – 10:40 have already been filled.  We do have more slots available starting at 12:00. So please call to reserve your tee time. We will also be serving lunch  from 11:00 – 2:00. Hope everyone has a great July 4th.

This year’s Junior Clinic continues this Tuesday Jun 26,  at 11:00 am and will run every Tuesday until Jul 10. The clinic is free and is open to all juniors. Applications are available in the clubhouse. We will not accept phone calls. Applicants will be interviewed for the positions. The pro shop attendant must be 19 years or older to legally serve.

Would like to thank the Plattsmouth Lion’s Club for having their annual fund raiser on Saturday. The Rodis team took 1st place with a very nice 56 for the 18 hole 4-person scramble. Would also like to thank all the sponsors for their generous donations and Mike Hall and all his volunteers for all the work they did in making this a success . The money raised supports a number of causes and everyone’s continued support is greatly appreciated. Look forward to hosting this tournament again next year. Please note that we are looking at scheduling this tournament later in the season next year.

Thanks to all those who participated in Sunday’s Father’s Day 9 hole 2-person scramble. Brad and Brody McClatchey took 1st place with a smooth 32 and 2nd place went to the Michael team with a 34. Look forward to this event next year, without the rain. I’m sure the Krieser and Friberg Teams would like that too as they played hole # 5 in a downpour.

Also want to give a shout out to Russ Bastian and his crew for all the great work they are doing on the course and in preparing for this past weekend’s golf outings. The greens look they best I have ever seen them. Also BIG thanks to Bill Farr, our kitchen manager. Not only did he do a great job with the food for this weekends outings, he is putting in a lot of hours in the kitchen as he is currently on his own. If anyone knows of anyone looking for a job working as a line cook please send them our way and have them fill out an application. Please bear with us as we try and fill that position.

You can also download  the AMI Jukebox app to your phone and play the jukebox from your phone. Just do a search for AMI Jukebox under your APPS store and download the app. Once you have downloaded the app, select Caddy’s Lounge as your location. It’s quick and easy to setup.

KARAOKE

We have Karaoke every Friday and Saturday starting at 9:00. However, if you ever want to practice your skills, once the kitchen closes, we can fire up the Karaoke and let the singing begin.

ROAD CLOSURE DETOUR 

Some of you may already be aware that Murray Road is now closed until sometime in the fall. As a result you will need to take a minor detour to get to Lake Ridge. For those not familiar with Beaver Lake when you exit HWY 75, turn EAST onto ROCK BLUFF ROAD. Then turn RIGHT onto MONROE ROAD and then LEFT onto BEAVER LAKE BLVD. Follow the road around until you get back to MURRAY ROAD and turn LEFT.  Your back on the right road to get to your favorite golf course and restaurant. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but  this is out of our control. We have maps located between the Men’s and Ladies bathrooms for your convenience.

TEE TIMES FOR JULY 4TH

Tee times for July 4th  are filling up fast. Tee times from 9:10 – 10:40 have already been filled. We have a few slots available for 9 holes only from 7:00 – 8:00 . We do have more slots available starting at 12:00. So please call to reserve your tee time. We will also be serving lunch  from 11:00 – 2:00. Hope everyone has a great July 4th.

LUNCH TIME AT LAKE RIDGE

We are now open for lunch Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 11:00 – 2:00. So come have an enjoyable and relaxing lunch at Fairway’s Restaurant. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view or relax in the lounge. We have a wide selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza’s, flat breads and salads to satisfy to your lunchtime cravings. We also do to-go orders.

UNLIMITED GOLF

The UNLIMITED GOLF special has returned. The $24.50 package includes all your golf, cart rental, a cold sandwich and chips and is available Mon – Fri.  Our $29.50 package includes golf, cart rental, and a hot lunch from Fairways Restaurant and is only available on Fridays. Please note this golf does not  include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues. 

SENIOR GOLF SPECIAL

Are you 60 and over and love to golf? Well Lake Ridge Golf Course has a deal for you. Play all the golf  you want for only $20, including cart rental. That’s right $20. Now that’s a deal. Please note this golf does not  include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues. 

SENIORS LEAGUE 

The Monday morning Senior’s League has started. If you would like to play please meet in the Pro Shop before 9:00 am. Please note there will be no Seniors League on Monday May 28 due to Memorial Day.

As most of you can appreciate, having 40 or more golfers coming in for dinner all at once when they are done golfing is quite a task to handle. We highly encourage you to pre-order your dinner before playing, and if you do, we will offer you a 10% discount on your food order. So please help us help you and pre-order.

JUNIOR CLINIC

This year’s Junior Clinic continues this Tuesday Jun 5,  at 11:00 am and will run every Tuesday until Jul 10. The clinic is free and is open to all juniors. The clinic will cover golf etiquette, rules, chipping, putting and driving. Any juniors wanting to participate, please sign-up in advance. And mark your calendars for Tuesday Jul 24 when you can put your skills to work and play in the Junior Tournament. Please note the Junior Tournament has been changed to Jul 24 due to scheduling issues.

PLATTSMOUTH LIONS CLUB 4-PERSON SCRAMBLE 

The Plattsmouth Lions Club 18 hole 4-person scramble is this Saturday Jun 16 with a shot gun start at 9:00. Please sign up in the pro shop or call for more details. This is always a great event so please get a team together and help support the Plattsmouth Lions Club.

FATHERS DAY 2-PERSON SCRAMBLE

The annual Father’s Day 9 hole 2-person scramble is this Sunday Jun 17  with a shot gun start at 2:00. Please sign up in the pro shop or call for more details. Cost is $40 for a members team and $60 for guest team. Cost includes food and flag prizes. This is always a fun event and a great way to bond with your dad on his special day.

CONESTOGA BOOSTER CLUB GOLF OUTING 4-PERSON SCRAMBLE

The Conestoga Booster Club will be having their annual 18 hole 4-person scramble on Saturday Jun 23 with a shot gun start at 9:00 am.  To register a team you can go to http://tinyurl.com/conestogagolf2018 or contact Bobby Hogue at ctcbobby@gmail.com. If you would like to make cash donations or prizes please contact Bobby Hogue. Please sign-up early to ensure your spot. They have 18 spots available.

MEN’S AND WOMAN’S MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP

This year’s Men’s and Woman’s Match Play Championship starts Sunday Jun 24. All participants must have a League handicap with a minimum of 5 rounds played. Please sign-up in the pro shop. The Men’s drawing for Round 1 will be held Wednesday Jun 20 after Men’s League. The Ladies drawing for Round 1 will be held Thursday Jun 21 after Ladies League. Please note the Men’s Match Play will be 18 holes and the Ladies Match Play will be 9 holes. There is a $10 entry fee to play with the winner taking 70% of the pot and the runner-up 30%.
