CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS
This weekend’s Club Championship was a huge success with a record 68 golfers. I would like to thank all who played in this years tournament. Would also like to thank Scott Cundall and Debra Berry for helping out with the Calcutta. This is always a great weekend. Brad McClatchey won the Men’s Championship with a smooth 71 72 (143) to finish the tournament at 1 under par. Erin Spencer won the Woman’s Championship with an 85 79 (164). And Marty Macrander won the Men’s Senior Championship with an 88 88 (176).

TWILIGHT GOLF SPECIAL
We are happy to announce that starting Saturday Sep 1 we are introducing a new weekend TWILIGHT GOLF SPECIAL. Every Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 you pay for 9 holes of golf with cart and you can play the rest of the day. Fall is a beautiful time of the year to be outside and it doesn’t get any better with unlimited golf. So take advantage while you can and get you golf fix on. We all know what awaits us in a few months’ time…
UNLIMITED GOLF SPECIAL
The UNLIMITED GOLF special has returned. The $24.50 package includes all your golf, cart rental, a cold sandwich and chips and is available Mon – Fri. Our $29.50 package includes golf, cart rental, and a hot lunch from Fairways Restaurant and is only available on Fridays. Please note this golf does not include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.
SENIOR GOLF SPECIAL
Are you 60 and over and love to golf? Well Lake Ridge Golf Course has a deal for you. Play all the golf you want for only $20, including cart rental. That’s right $20. Now that’s a deal. Please note this golf does not include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.
HUSKER FOOTBALL
Are you ready for some football??? Caddies Lounge is ready for some football. So why not come watch the Huskers open their 2018 season against the Akron Zips this Saturday Sep 1 in Caddies Lounge. Kickoff is at 7:00. Enjoy Happy Hour rates during the game along with free jello or pudding shots every time the Huskers score a TD. We also have .50 cent elephant wings (minimum order of 6 – dine in only). Whether it’s our beloved Huskers playing , your favorite college team or pro team, why not come watch your team battle it out on one of our many TV’s. Sit on the deck, sit in the lounge, sit in the restaurant. Sit where ever you want. But wherever you sit always know that we will do our very best to ensure you have a great time. So put on you Red and head on up to the Ridge to cheer on those Huskers. GO BIG RED!!!
KYLE SORENSEN MEMORIAL GOLF OUTING SEP 8/9
The golf course will be closed the weekend of Sep 8 / 9 for the 16th annual Kyle Sorensen memorial Golf Tournament. Format is a 4-person scramble with two 18 hole scrambles scheduled for Saturday and two on Sunday. If you would like to play in this great tournament, please sign-up in the pro shop.
GLOW BALL 2-PERSON SCRAMBLE FRIDAY SEP 14 at DUSK
The final Glow Ball Tournament of the 2018 golf season has been scheduled for Friday Sep 14. Cost is $50 for a members team and $80 for a guest team. A buffet will be provided before we tee off along with raffle prizes. And let’s not forget the fireworks. Tee off will be at dusk which should be around 8:00 to 8:15. Glow ball fills up fast so please sign-up in the pro shop to ensure your spot.
RIP GOLF TOURNAMENT SUNDAY OCT 17 STARTING AT 11:00
The R.I.P. Tournament has been scheduled for Sunday Oct 7. Tee times start at 11:00. This is a handicap based tournament so everyone has a chance at winning. If you do not have a handicap, please let us know in advance so we can establish a handicap for you. Cost is $25 for members and $50 for guest. Price includes golf, prizes and food. The sign-up sheet is located in the pro shop. Please sign up in advance to better assist us in planning this event.
ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET SATURDAY OCT 13
Please mark your calendar for this year’s annual Awards / Members Appreciation Banquet to be held on Saturday Oct 13. Social starts at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00 followed by the awards presentation. You don’t have to be a winner to attend. This is always a great evening and a great way to finish off the 2018 golf season.
