ROAD CLOSURE DETOUR
Murray Road is now closed until sometime in the fall. As a result you will need to take a minor detour to get to Lake Ridge. For those not familiar with Beaver Lake when you exit HWY 75, turn EAST onto ROCK BLUFF ROAD. Then turn RIGHT onto MONROE ROAD and then LEFT onto BEAVER LAKE BLVD. Follow the road around until you get back to MURRAY ROAD and turn LEFT. Your back on the right road to get to your favorite golf course and restaurant. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but this is out of our control. We have maps located between the Men’s and Ladies bathrooms for your convenience.
LUNCH TIME AT LAKE RIDGE
We are now open for lunch Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 11:00 – 2:00. So come have an enjoyable and relaxing lunch at Fairway’s Restaurant. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view or relax in the lounge. We have a wide selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza’s, flat breads and salads to satisfy to your lunchtime cravings. We also do to-go orders.
UNLIMITED GOLF
The UNLIMITED GOLF special has returned. The $24.50 package includes all your golf, cart rental, a cold sandwich and chips and is available Mon – Fri. Our $29.50 package includes golf, cart rental, and a hot lunch from Fairways Restaurant and is only available on Fridays. Please note this golf does not include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.
SENIOR GOLF SPECIAL
Are you 60 and over and love to golf? Well Lake Ridge Golf Course has a deal for you. Play all the golf you want for only $20, including cart rental. That’s right $20. Now that’s a deal. Please note this golf does not include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.
SENIORS LEAGUE
The Monday morning Senior’s League has started. If you would like to play please meet in the Pro Shop before 9:00 am.
BOOK YOUR TEE TIME ONLINE
Need to book a tee time? It’s so easy a caveman can do it. Just go to our website at www.golflakeridge.com. Not only can you book your tee time online, but you can view all the upcoming events for the season in the events Club Calendar. You can view our menu, order gift certificate’s from our online shop and keep up-to-date with the latest golfing news with my online news blog. It even links you to our Facebook and Twitter pages. So please take a few minutes to check it out and add to your favorites list. Please note that if you are unable to make your tee time or are running late, please let us know. During busy periods, especially on weekends and holidays, if you miss your tee time, we will give that slot to someone else and you may not be able to play since we have a limited amount of golf carts.
MEN’S AND WOMAN’S MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP
Lynette Maneman won 2-up against Nicolette Walk on Sunday to win this year’s Ladies Match Play Championship. Congratulation to Lynette for winning and Nicolette for being the runner up. Want to also thank all the ladies who played in this year’s event. Look forward to doing this again next year.
The results for 4th round of the Men’s Match Play are as follows:
TANNER REED won 6-4 up against ANTON YOST on Sunday Jul 15. TANNER now plays the winner of the ED HERRING / BRAD McCLATCHEY match.
BRAD MCCLATCHEY still to play ED HERRING. Winner will play TANNER in the Men’s Championship Match next Sunday Jul 22.
THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
We will be having a draw this Wednesday after Men’s League for this year’s Open Championship at Carnoustie. Please see Troy Ackerman or Jon Eagen if you would like to participate and win a little cash. And why not watch some of the action this weekend in Caddies Lounge. Should be a great tournament. Will Tiger end his drought and finally get that long awaited win or will someone else rise to the top and win the 3rd Major of the year. My prediction is Francesco Molinari.
DINNER AND A MOVIE NIGHT – DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS JUL 29 AT 9:00 PM
Come join us Sunday July 29 for our first ever dinner and a movie night, drive-in movie style. Bring your own cart or use one of ours. Movie starts at 9:00. Bill is currently working on a menu so more info to follow. Dinner for Schmucks is an adult oriented movie. Please RSVP to better assist us in planning this event. Should be a great evening.
PATRICK MILLER GOLF BENEFIT JULY 21 at 9:00 am
The Patrick Miller 18 hole 4-person scramble will be held Saturday July 21 with a shot gun start at 9:00 am. Money raised will help with medical expenses for a double-lung transplant. JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT TUESDAY JULY 24 at 1:00 pm
This year’s Junior Tournament will be held Tuesday July 24 at 1:00 pm. This is a 9 hole event with different age divisions for both girls and boys. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for guest and includes lunch. Please sign-up in the Pro shop.
ANNUAL LADIES INVITATIONAL SATURDAY AUG 4 at 9:00 am
This year’s Ladies Invitational is Saturday Aug 4 at 9:00 am. Tournament is now FULL. We are still looking for volunteers to help out. If you would like to help please contact Troy Ackerman or Jon Eagen. We are also looking for donations for raffle prizes. Please contact Jean Ackerman or Kelli Eagen if you would like to donate any items for the raffle prizes. Your help is greatly appreciated. This is always and great tournament and a fun filled day.
RYDER CUP AGAINST TABLE CREEK WEEKEND OF AUG 11/12
This year’s Ryder Cup against Table Creek is the weekend of Aug 11 / 12. We play at Lake Ridge Saturday and finish up at Table Creek on Sunday. If you would like to play, please contact me via email at todd.berry@spiralfiber.com.

Lake Waconda will be having a 9-hole 4 person scramble on Saturday Aug 18 at 10:00 am.
CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP – CALCUTTA WEEKEND OF AUG 25/26
The sign-up sheet for this year’s Club Championship is located in the pro shop. Please sign-up early to better assist us in planning this event on Aug 25 / Aug 26. Tee times will be made available Friday Aug 25. The Calcutta will start at 6:00 on Saturday evening.
GLOW BALL 2-PERSON SCRAMBLE FRIDAY SEP 14 at DUSK
The final Glow Ball Tournament of the 2018 golf season has been scheduled for Friday Sep 14. Cost is $50 for a members team and $80 for a guest team. A buffet will be provided before we tee off along with raffle prizes. And let’s not forget the fireworks. Tee off will be at dusk which should be around 8:00 to 8:15. Glow ball fills up fast so please sign-up in the pro shop to ensure your spot.

Just do a search for AMI Jukebox under your APPS store and download the app. Once you have downloaded the app, select Caddy’s Lounge as your location. It’s quick and easy to setup.
KARAOKE
We have Karaoke every Friday and Saturday starting at 9:00. However, if you ever want to practice your skills, once the kitchen closes, we can fire up the Karaoke and let the singing begin.
