Would like to thank Ann Hobscheidt for choosing Lake Ridge to host her husband Morris Big Birthday Bash last Friday night. Would also like to thank everyone who attended and made this a very special night for Morris. It was a great night with well over 200 people attending throughout the night.
We would like to wish everyone a safe and fun filled Independence Day on Wednesday. Morning tee times are already booked solid but we have afternoon tee times available so please call in advance to book your tee time. We will be open for lunch from 11:00 – 2:00 and also for dinner from 5:00 – 9:00. So if you have no plans, come on up for some dinner and watch all the fireworks from our deck. There is NO Wednesday Men’s League.
COUPLES FUN NIGHT FRIDAY JUL 6 AT 6:00
There will be no Couples League 2 this Friday July 6 due to the Beaver Lake Firework Extravaganza. However, we have scheduled a Couples Fun Night starting at 6:00. Cost is $25.00 per members team and $50.00 per guest team. Price includes dinner and a chance at winning flag prizes. Please sign-up in the pro shop to ensure your spot. Please note that Couples League 2 matches have been rescheduled to Friday Aug 24. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
ROAD CLOSURE DETOUR
Murray Road is now closed until sometime in the fall. As a result you will need to take a minor detour to get to Lake Ridge. For those not familiar with Beaver Lake when you exit HWY 75, turn EAST onto ROCK BLUFF ROAD. Then turn RIGHT onto MONROE ROAD and then LEFT onto BEAVER LAKE BLVD. Follow the road around until you get back to MURRAY ROAD and turn LEFT. Your back on the right road to get to your favorite golf course and restaurant. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but this is out of our control. We have maps located between the Men’s and Ladies bathrooms for your convenience.
LUNCH TIME AT LAKE RIDGE
We are now open for lunch Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 11:00 – 2:00. So come have an enjoyable and relaxing lunch at Fairway’s Restaurant. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view or relax in the lounge. We have a wide selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza’s, flat breads and salads to satisfy to your lunchtime cravings. We also do to-go orders.
UNLIMITED GOLF
The UNLIMITED GOLF special has returned. The $24.50 package includes all your golf, cart rental, a cold sandwich and chips and is available Mon – Fri. Our $29.50 package includes golf, cart rental, and a hot lunch from Fairways Restaurant and is only available on Fridays. Please note this golf does not include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.
SENIOR GOLF SPECIAL
Are you 60 and over and love to golf? Well Lake Ridge Golf Course has a deal for you. Play all the golf you want for only $20, including cart rental. That’s right $20. Now that’s a deal. Please note this golf does not include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.
SENIORS LEAGUE
The Monday morning Senior’s League has started. If you would like to play please meet in the Pro Shop before 9:00 am. Please note there will be no Seniors League on Monday May 28 due to Memorial Day.

As most of you can appreciate, having 40 or more golfers coming in for dinner all at once when they are done golfing is quite a task to handle. We highly encourage you to pre-order your dinner before playing, and if you do, we will offer you a 10% discount on your food order. So please help us help you and pre-order.
BOOK YOUR TEE TIME ONLINE
Need to book a tee time? It’s so easy a caveman can do it. Just go to our website at www.golflakeridge.com. Not only can you book your tee time online, but you can view all the upcoming events for the season in the events Club Calendar. You can view our menu, order gift certificate’s from our online shop and keep up-to-date with the latest golfing news with my online news blog. It even links you to our Facebook and Twitter pages. So please take a few minutes to check it out and add to your favorites list. Please note that if you are unable to make your tee time or are running late, please let us know. During busy periods, especially on weekends and holidays, if you miss your tee time, we will give that slot to someone else and you may not be able to play since we have a limited amount of golf carts.
JUNIOR CLINIC
This year’s Junior Clinic continues this Tuesday July 3, at 11:00 am and will run every Tuesday until Jul 10. The clinic is free and is open to all juniors. The clinic will cover golf etiquette, rules, chipping, putting and driving. Any juniors wanting to participate, please sign-up in advance. And mark your calendars for Tuesday Jul 24 when you can put your skills to work and play in the Junior Tournament. Please note the Junior Tournament has been changed to Jul 24 due to scheduling issues.

JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT
This year’s Junior Tournament will be held Tuesday July 24 at 11:00 am. This is a 9 hole event with different age divisions for both girls and boys. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for guest and includes lunch. Please sign-up in the Pro shop.
PATRICK MILLER GOLF BENEFIT
The Patrick Miller 18 hole 4-person scramble will be held Saturday July 21 with a shot gun start at 9:00 am. Money raised will help with medical expenses for a double-lung transplant. KARAOKE
We have Karaoke every Friday and Saturday starting at 9:00. However, if you ever want to practice your skills, once the kitchen closes, we can fire up the Karaoke and let the singing begin.
