Would like to thank Tom Sorensen and his family for having the 16th Annual Kyle Sorensen Memorial Golf Outing this past weekend. The weather was perfect as over 140 golfers took to the course to play in the 4-person scramble Saturday morning and all day Sunday. This is a great tournament and all the money raised goes towards a scholarship fund in Kyle’s name. Thanks to all who made this a very successful event. Special thanks to Zane Reed from Beardmore Chevrolet for sponsoring the Hole-In-One hole and giving everyone a chance at winning a new car.

TWILIGHT GOLF SPECIAL
We are happy to announce that starting Saturday Sep 1 we are introducing a new weekend TWILIGHT GOLF SPECIAL. Every Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 you pay for 9 holes of golf with cart and you can play the rest of the day. Fall is a beautiful time of the year to be outside and it doesn’t get any better with unlimited golf. So take advantage while you can and get you golf fix on. We all know what awaits us in a few months’ time…
UNLIMITED GOLF SPECIAL
The UNLIMITED GOLF special has returned. The $24.50 package includes all your golf, cart rental, a cold sandwich and chips and is available Mon – Fri. Our $29.50 package includes golf, cart rental, and a hot lunch from Fairways Restaurant and is only available on Fridays. Please note this golf does not include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.
SENIOR GOLF SPECIAL
Are you 60 and over and love to golf? Well Lake Ridge Golf Course has a deal for you. Play all the golf you want for only $20, including cart rental. That’s right $20. Now that’s a deal. Please note this golf does not include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.
COUPLES FUN NIGHT SEP 7 AT 6:00
We have scheduled a Couples Fun Night for this Friday Sep 7 starting at 6:00. Cost is $25.00 per members team and $50.00 per guest team. Price includes dinner and a chance at winning flag prizes. Please sign-up in the pro shop to ensure your spot.
HUSKER FOOTBALL – HUSKERS VS TROY TROJANS SEP 16 AT 11:00
Come watch the Huskers take on the Troy Trojans this Saturday Sep 16 in Caddies Lounge. Kickoff is at 11:00 on BTN. Enjoy Happy Hour rates during the game along with free jello or pudding shots every time the Huskers score a TD. We also have .50 cent elephant wings (minimum order of 6 – dine in only). So put on you Red and head on up to the Ridge to cheer on those Huskers. GO BIG RED!!!
GLOW BALL 2-PERSON SCRAMBLE FRIDAY SEP 14 at DUSK
The final Glow Ball Tournament of the 2018 golf season has been scheduled for Friday Sep 14. Cost is $50 for a members team and $80 for a guest team. A buffet will be provided before we tee off along with raffle prizes. And let’s not forget the fireworks. Tee off will be at dusk which should be around 8:00 to 8:15. Glow ball fills up fast so please sign-up in the pro shop to ensure your spot.
TEXAS HOLDEM IS BACK TUESDAY OCT 2 AT 7:00
All right poker fans, the wait is finally over. Texas HoldEm returns on Tuesday Oct 2 starting promptly at 7:00. Poker players enjoy Happy Hour rates when playing and the chance at winning prizes. If you like poker, Lake Ridge is the place to be on Tuesday nights.
RIP GOLF TOURNAMENT SUNDAY OCT 17 STARTING AT 11:00
The R.I.P. Tournament has been scheduled for Sunday Oct 7. Tee times start at 11:00. This is a handicap based tournament so everyone has a chance at winning. If you do not have a handicap, please let us know in advance so we can establish a handicap for you. Cost is $25 for members and $50 for guest. Price includes golf, prizes and food. The sign-up sheet is located in the pro shop. Please sign up in advance to better assist us in planning this event.
ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET SATURDAY OCT 13
Please mark your calendar for this year’s annual Awards / Members Appreciation Banquet to be held on Saturday Oct 13. Social starts at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00 followed by the awards presentation. You don’t have to be a winner to attend. This is always a great evening and a great way to finish off the 2018 golf season.
