Would like to thank the Plattsmouth Lion’s Club for having their annual fund raiser this past Saturday. Our very own Mike Hall took over this tournament from Larry Hefling 2 years ago when they closed the Murrey Chapter of the Lion’s Club. The money raised supports a number of causes and everyone’s continued support is greatly appreciated. I would also like to thank Jeff Henry Motors and Zane Reed for sponsoring the hole-in-one hole and giving everyone a chance at winning a brand new truck. Look forward to hosting this tournament again next year.
Anton Yost beat Todd Berry on the first playoff hole and Tyson Widler beat Larry Welch1 up on Sunday July 16 during the John Hopp Men’s Match play tournament. Tyson now plays Anton in the final match on Sunday July 23. Good luck to both Tyson and Anton. Thanks to all who played in this year’s competition. This event keeps getting bigger each year and I look forward to next years Match Play Championship.
The 3rd round of the Ladies Match play continues this Sunday Jul 23.
The Ladies Invitational is Saturday Aug 5 at 9:00am. We are still looking for volunteers to help out. If you would like to help please contact Troy Ackerman or Jon Eagen. We are also looking for donations for raffle prizes. Please contact Jean Ackerman or Kelli Eagen if you would like to donate any items for the raffle prizes. Your help is greatly appreciated. This is always and great tournament and a fun filled day.
The Monday morning Senior League continues every Monday at 9:00. Any Senior wanting to play please meet at the club house every Monday morning, weather permitting.

Not only can you book your tee time online, but you can view all the upcoming events for the season in the events Club Calendar. Come take advantage of our UNLIMITED GOLF SPECIAL. The $24.50 golf package includes all your golf, cart rental and a cold sandwich with chips and is available Monday – Friday. However due to changes with our lunch schedule the $29.50 package that includes golf, cart rental and a hot lunch from Fairways Restaurant will only be available on Fridays. Please note this golf special does not include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.

UPCOMING EVENTS
We will be having a Conceal and Carry gun class on Sunday July 30. Registration begins at 8:00 am and the class starts at 8:30 am and is schedules to run until 4:30. The cost of the course is $100 per person. Payment can be made via PayPal using https://www.paypal.me/thetribe?locale.x=en_US&country.x=US. Please use the friends and friends function or add 3.5% for the fees. Please include the name of who is attending the class in the notes section. You can bring the range fee with you the day of the class or you can include it in the PayPal payment. If you have an issue with PayPal or don’t have an account account you can mail payment to the address below. To reserve your seat, please make sure payment is made prior to July 23. There is a class enrollment minimum, so if there isn’t enough people paid by July 23, the class is subject to be cancelled. If the class is cancelled for any reason, a full refund will be given, less any fees from PayPal. You will need to bring a firearm of any caliber with a holster that can be concealed. We recommend a belt holster on the outside of the pants and a jacket or button down shirt to conceal the gun. Most of the qualification is drawing from concealment, but there are no time limits. Please do not bring any ammunition into the classroom portion; you may, however, bring an unloaded and cased weapon if you would like. Training material and handouts will be provided for the classroom portion. Also, you will need range protective gear as well. Eye protection and ear protection is required. 100 rounds of manufactured practice ammunition should suffice. Officer Brian Hayes will be the instructor. KARAOKE
We have Karaoke every Friday and Saturday starting at 9:00. However, if you ever
want to practice your skills, once the kitchen closes, we can fire up the Karaoke and
let the singing begin.
