Fall is a beautiful time of the year to hit the links. With cooler temperatures and the changing colors it doesn’t get much better than that. Or does it? Fall golf just got even better at Lake Ridge. Starting this weekend, guest who are accompanied by a member, can play all day, cart included, for $29.50 on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. But wait, there’s more. Price also includes a menu selection of $9.95 or under from Fairway’s Restaurant. Anything over $9.95 you pay the difference. So what are you waiting for, grab some friends and head on up to the Ridge and take advantage of this great offer.
FALL GOLF SPECIAL
We are also offering our Fall Golf Special Monday – Friday from 7:00 – 4:00 and after 2:00 on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. You only pay for your golf and get free cart rental. So grab your clubs and get your golf fix in before it’s too late. Fall is a great time of the year to play some golf, but we all know what comes after fall!!! Brrrr…
LEAGUE UPDATES
Monday Men’s League finishes tonight Sep 18 and the Wednesday Men’s League finishes this Wednesday Sep 20.
TEXAS HOLDEM
All right poker fans, the wait is finally over. Texas HoldEm returns on Tuesday Oct 3 starting promptly at 7:00. Poker players enjoy Happy Hour rates when playing and the chance at winning prizes. If you like poker, Lake Ridge is the place to be on Tuesday nights.
UPCOMING EVENTS
The Conceal and Carry gun class is this Sunday Sep 24. Registration begins at 8:00 am and the class starts at 8:30 am and is schedules to run until 4:30. The cost of the course is $100 per person. Payment can be made via PayPal using https://www.paypal.me/thetribe?locale.x=en_US&country.x=US.
R.I.P. TOURNAMENT
The R.I.P. Tournament has been scheduled for Sunday Oct 8. Tee times start at 11:00. This is a handicap based tournament so everyone has a chance at winning. If you do not have a handicap, please let us know in advance so we can establish a handicap for you. Cost is $25 for members and $50 for guest. Price includes golf, prizes and food. The sign-up sheet is located in the pro shop. Please sign up in advance to better assist us in planning this event.
AWARDS BANQUET
Please mark your calendar for this year’s annual Awards / Members Appreciation Banquet to be held on Saturday Oct 21. Social starts at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00 followed by the awards presentation. You don’t have to be a winner to attend. This is always a great evening and a great way to finish off the 2017 golf season. Please RSVP.
SUPERINTENDENTS REVENGE
We have scheduled a Superintendents Revenge for Sunday Oct 15 starting at 11:00 AM. The format will be a 2-person 18 hole scramble. Cost is $40 for a members team and $60 for a guest team. We will also have a chili cook off with a prize for best chili. Please sign up in advance to better assist us in planning this event. It’s golf, with a twist or two. Should be fun.
GLOW BALL TOURNAMENT
We will be having a Halloween themed 2-person Glow Ball Tournament on Friday Oct 27 starting at dusk (around 7:30). Cost is $50 for a members team and $80 for a guest team. A buffet will be provided before we tee off along with raffle prizes when we finish. Prize for best costume. And let’s not forget the fireworks. This tournament will fill up fast so please sign-up ASAP to ensure your spot. And once we are done golfing, get your freak on in Caddies Lounge and get you Halloween weekend started right with some Halloween fun and Karaoke for all you scary singers.
BIG RED FOOTBALL
After last Saturdays disappointing loss to the power house of Northern Illinois, the Husker’s (1-2) now open BIG TEN play and take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (1-2) this Saturday Sep 23 in Caddies Lounge. Kickoff is at 2:30 on the BTN. Enjoy Happy Hour rates during the game along with free Jello or pudding shots every time the Huskers score a TD. We also have 50 cent drumsticks (minimum order of 6 – dine in only). Whether it’s our beloved Huskers playing , your favorite college Team or pro team, why not come watch your team battle it out on one of our many TV’s. Sit on the deck, sit in the lounge, sit in the restaurant. Sit where ever you want. But wherever you sit always know that we will do our very best to ensure you have a great time. So put on you Red and head on up to the Ridge to cheer on those Huskers. GO BIG RED!!!
BOOKING A TEE TIME
Booking a tee time has never been easier. Just go to our new and improved website at https://golflakeridge.com . Not only can you book your tee time online, but you can view all the upcoming events for the season in the events Club Calendar. You can view our menu, order gift certificate’s from our online shop and keep up-to-date with the latest golfing news with my online news blog. It even links you to our Facebook and Twitter pages. So please take a few minutes to check it out and add to your favorites list.
UNLIMITED GOLF SPECIAL
Time is running out to take advantage of our UNLIMITED GOLF SPECIAL. The $24.50 golf package includes all your golf, cart rental and a cold sandwich with chips and is available Monday – Friday. However due to changes with our lunch schedule the $29.50 package that includes golf, cart rental and a hot lunch from Fairways Restaurant will only be available on Fridays. Please note this golf special does not include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues. This offer expires on Sep 30.
As we now start to enter our fall schedule, Saturday Sep 30 will be the last day the kitchen is open for lunch. However the kitchen will be open during all Nebraska football games.

And for all you music fans, download the AMI Jukebox app to your phone and play the jukebox from your phone. Just do a search for AMI Jukebox under your APPS store and download the app. Once you have downloaded the app, select Caddy’s Lounge as your location. It’s quick and easy to setup.
KARAOKE
We have Karaoke every Friday and Saturday starting at 9:00. However, if you ever want to practice your skills, once the kitchen closes, we can fire up the Karaoke and let the singing begin.
