RYDER CUP WEEKEND

LAKE RIDGE 24.5 / TABLE CREEK 15.5

  Well, my legs hurt, my feet have blisters and my face looks Hot Coral, but it was well worth it. The Lake Ridge Boys won this weekend’s Ryder Cup against Table Creek 25.5 to 15.5. Nice to finally win one after 5 straight losses. The series is now tied 6-6. What a great weekend. Big shout out to Brad McClatchey for being Co-Captain. And a bigger shout out to all the guys who played some great golf over the weekend. WIN, lose or draw, always a great weekend. Can’t wait for next year. We finally got the Plaque Back. Thanks to all who came out to watch us play.

Want to give a shout out to our Course Superintendent, Aaron Brink and his team for all the hard work and effort they’ve put in keeping the course in great shape. The course looked great for this year’s Ryder Cup. Keep up the good work guys.  

GREAT ROUND

Congratulations to Sandy Allgeier for shooting a 40 last week during Tuesday Ladies League. I don’t normal make mention of scores but when you shoot half your age, that’s pretty impressive. Great round Sandy.

LEAGUE FINISHING DATES

Monday Men’s League scheduled to finish Sep 30. Includes 2 make-up matches. Tuesday Ladies League scheduled to finish Sep 10. Includes 2 make-up matches. Wednesday Men’s League scheduled to finish Sep 11. Thursday Ladies League finishes Sep 12. Couples League 1 finishes this Friday Aug 16. Couples League 2 finishes Friday Aug 23. Please note we have a Couples Fun Night scheduled for Aug 30. If however, we have any rainouts this will be a makeup evening.

UNLIMITED GOLF SPECIAL

The UNLIMITED GOLF special has returned. The $24.50 package includes all your golf, cart rental, a cold sandwich and chips and is available Mon – Fri.  Our $29.50 package includes golf, cart rental, and a hot lunch from Fairways Restaurant and is only available on Fridays. Please note this golf does not  include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.

SENIOR GOLF SPECIAL 

Are you 60 and over and love to golf? Well Lake Ridge Golf Course has a deal for you.Play  all the golf  you want for only $20, including cart rental. That’s right $20. Please note this golf does not  include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.

LUNCH TIME

We are now open for lunch Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 11:00 – 2:00.  So come have an enjoyable and relaxing lunch at Fairway’s Restaurant. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view or relax in the lounge. We have a wide selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza’s, flatbreads and salads to satisfy to your lunchtime cravings. We also do to-go orders.  

SENIOR’S LEAGUE   

The Monday morning Senior’s League continues every Monday at 9:00 am. If you would like to play please meet in the Pro Shop.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP / CALCUTTA AUG 24–AUG 25

The sign-up sheet for this year’s Club Championship is located in the pro shop. Please sign-up early to better assist us in planning this event on Aug 24 / Aug 25. Tee times will be made available Friday Aug 25. The Calcutta will start at 6:00 on Saturday evening.

COUPLES FUN NIGHT FRIDAY AUG 30

We have scheduled a Couples Fun Night for Friday Aug 30 at 6:00 . Cost is $25.00 per members team and $50.00 per guest team. Price includes dinner and a chance at winning flag prizes. Please sign-up in the pro shop to ensure your spot.

KYLE SORENSEN MEMORIAL OUTING SEP 7-8     

The golf course will be closed the weekend of Sep 7  / 8  for the 17^th annual Kyle Sorensen Memorial Golf Tournament. Format is a 4-person scramble with two 18 hole scrambles scheduled for Saturday and two on Sunday. If you would like to play in this great tournament, please sign-up in the pro shop.

CORN HOLE TOURNAMENT SEP 15 AT 1:00

We are having an outside Cornhole Tournament on Sunday Sep 15 at 1:00.  Entry Fee is $30 per team. Winners gets 50% of the pot,  2nd place gets 30%, 3rd place gets 15%, 4th place gets 5%. This will be a double elimination tournament with 27 feet between boards. 32 team maximum. So please call us on 402-235-4653 to sign-up today to ensure your spot.

GLOW BALL TOURNAMENT SEP 20 AT DUSK

We have scheduled the final 2-Person Glow Ball Tournament for Friday Sep 20. Cost is $60 for a member team and $90 for a guest team. We will have a buffet before teeing off at DUSK. Please sign-up in the Pro Shop. Sign-up early as this tournament fills up fast.

Just do a search for AMI Jukebox under your APPS store and download the app. Once you have downloaded the app, select Caddy’s Lounge as your location. It’s quick and easy to setup.
