CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS

  This weekend’s Club Championship was a huge success. I would like to thank all who played. Everyone did a fantastic job in keeping play moving and everything  ran on time. Would also like to thank Jeff King and Debra Berry for helping out with the Calcutta. Brett Hahn won the Men’s Championship with a smooth 69 67 (136) to finish the tournament at 8 under par. Erin Spencer won the Woman’s Championship with a 77 87 (164). And Don Thompson won  the Men’s Senior Championship with an 80 79 (159).

LABOR DAY MON SEP 2

  There is no Monday Men’s League due to Labor Day. Please call the pro shop to book a tee  time in advance since Labor Day weekend is usually a busy time on the course. Hope everyone has a safe and fun filled weekend.

  Monday Men’s League scheduled to finish Sep 30. Includes 2 make-up matches. Tuesday Ladies League scheduled to finish Sep 10. Includes 2 make-up matches. Wednesday Men’s League scheduled to finish Sep 11. Thursday Ladies League finishes Sep 12. Couples League 1 finished Friday Aug 16. Couples League 2 finished Friday Aug 23.

TWILIGHT GOLF SPECIAL

  We are happy to announce that starting Sunday Sep 1 we are introducing a new weekend TWILIGHT GOLF SPECIAL. Every Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 you pay for 9 holes of golf with cart and you can play the rest of the day.  Fall is a beautiful time of the year to be outside and it doesn’t get any better with unlimited golf. So take advantage while you can and get you golf fix on. We all know what awaits us in a few months’ time…

UNLIMITED GOLF SPECIAL

  The UNLIMITED GOLF special has returned. The $24.50 package includes all your golf, cart rental, a cold sandwich and chips and is available Mon – Fri.  Our $29.50 package includes golf, cart rental, and a hot lunch from Fairways Restaurant and is only available on Fridays. Please note this golf does not  include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.

SENIOR GOLF SPECIAL 

  Are you 60 and over and love to golf? Well Lake Ridge Golf Course has a deal for you.Play  all the golf  you want for only $20, including cart rental. That’s right $20. Please note this golf does not  include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.  

NEW PRODUCTS

  We’ve brought in a few new products for you to enjoy. Why not try the Cardinal Pale Ale beer from the Nebraska Brewing Company or choose a Truly or White Claw Hard Seltzer. Truly Hard Seltzer has only 2 grams of carbs and the White Claw Hard Seltzer is gluten free and is also only 2 grams of carbs. We have various flavors available…  

LUNCH TIME

  We are now open for lunch Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 11:00 – 2:00.  So come have an enjoyable and relaxing lunch at Fairway’s Restaurant. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view or relax in the lounge. We have a wide selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza’s, flatbreads and salads to satisfy to your lunchtime cravings. We also do to-go orders.

The Monday morning Senior’s League continues every Monday at 9:00 am. If you would like to play please meet in the Pro Shop.

  We have  a Couples Fun Night this Friday Aug 30 at 6:00 . Cost is $25.00 per members team and $50.00 per guest team. Price includes dinner and a chance at winning flag prizes. Please sign-up in the pro shop to ensure your spot.  

NEBRASKA VS SOUTH ALABAMA SAT AUG 31

  Are you ready for some football??? Caddies Lounge is ready for some football. Whether it’s our beloved Huskers playing or your favorite college team or pro team,  why not come watch your team battle it out on one of our many TV’s. Sit on the deck, sit in the lounge, sit in the restaurant. Sit where ever you want. But wherever you sit always know that we will do our very best to ensure you have a great time. We have appetizer  specials, drink specials and we can even cater for your party. So put on you Red and head on up to the Ridge to cheer on your Huskers when they open the 2019 season against South Alabama on Saturday Aug31. Kickoff is at 11:00.  GO BIG RED!!!

KYLE SORENSEN MEMORIAL OUTING SEP 7-8     

  The golf course will be closed the weekend of Sep 7  / 8  for the 17^th annual Kyle Sorensen Memorial Golf Tournament. Format is a 4-person scramble with two 18 hole scrambles scheduled for Saturday and two on Sunday. If you would like to play in this great tournament, please sign-up in the pro shop.  

CORN HOLE TOURNAMENT SEP 15 AT 1:00

  We are having an outside Cornhole Tournament on Sunday Sep 15 at 1:00.  Entry Fee is $30 per team. Winners gets 50% of the pot,  2nd place gets 30%, 3rd place gets 15%, 4th place gets 5%. This will be a double elimination tournament with 27 feet between boards. 32 team maximum. So please call us on 402-235-4653 to sign-up today to ensure your spot.  

GLOW BALL TOURNAMENT SEP 20 AT DUSK

  We have scheduled the final 2-Person Glow Ball Tournament for Friday Sep 20. Cost is $60 for a member team and $90 for a guest team. We will have a buffet before teeing off at DUSK. Please sign-up in the Pro Shop. Sign-up early as this tournament fills up fast.  

RIP GOLF TOURNAMENT SUN OCT 6

  The  R.I.P. Tournament has been scheduled for Sunday Oct 6. Tee times start at 11:00. This is a handicap based tournament so everyone has a chance at winning. If you do not have a handicap, please let us know in advance so we can establish a handicap for you. Cost is $30 for members and $55 for guest.  Price includes golf, prizes and food. The sign-up sheet is located in the pro shop. Please sign up  in  advance to better assist us in planning this event.    

ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET SAT OCT 19

  Please mark your calendar for this year’s annual Awards / Members Appreciation Banquet to be held on  Saturday Oct 19. Social starts at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00 followed by the awards presentation. You don’t have to be a winner to attend. This is always a great evening and a great way to finish off the 2019 golf season.
