Would like to thank Tom Sorensen and his family for having the 17th Annual Kyle Sorensen Memorial Golf Outing this past weekend. 123 golfers played in this year’s weekend long event. All the money raised goes towards a scholarship fund in Kyle’s name. Thanks to all who made this a very successful event. Special thanks to Zane Reed from Beardmore Chevrolet for sponsoring the Hole-In-One hole and giving everyone a chance at winning a new car.

TWILIGHT GOLF SPECIAL

We are happy to announce that starting Sunday Sep 1 we are introducing a new weekend TWILIGHT GOLF SPECIAL. Every Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 you pay for 9 holes of golf with cart and you can play the rest of the day.  Fall is a beautiful time of the year to be outside and it doesn’t get any better with unlimited golf. So take advantage while you can and get you golf fix on. We all know what awaits us in a few months’ time.

UNLIMITED GOLF SPECIAL

The UNLIMITED GOLF special has returned. The $24.50 package includes all your golf, cart rental, a cold sandwich and chips and is available Mon – Fri.  Our $29.50 package includes golf, cart rental, and a hot lunch from Fairways Restaurant and is only available on Fridays. Please note this golf does not  include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.

SENIOR GOLF SPECIAL 

Are you 60 and over and love to golf? Well Lake Ridge Golf Course has a deal for you.Play  all the golf  you want for only $20, including cart rental. That’s right $20. Please note this golf does not  include weekends or holidays and all golfers must stop playing at 4:00. This allow us time to get setup and ready for the evening leagues.

LUNCH TIME

We are now open for lunch Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 11:00 – 2:00.  So come have an enjoyable and relaxing lunch at Fairway’s Restaurant. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view or relax in the lounge. We have a wide selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza’s, flatbreads and salads to satisfy to your lunchtime cravings. We also do to-go orders. 

SENIOR’S LEAGUE 

The Monday morning Senior’s League continues every Monday at 9:00 am. If you would like to play please meet in the Pro Shop.

UPCOMING EVENTS

 NEBRASKA VS NORTHERN ILLINOIS SAT SEP 14

Come watch the Husker’s take on the Northern Illinois Huskies this Saturday Sep 14 in Caddies Lounge. Kickoff is at 7:00 on FS1. Enjoy Happy Hour rates during the game along with free Jell-O or pudding shots every time the Huskers score a TD. We also have .50 cent elephant wings (minimum order of 6 – dine in only). So put on your Red and head on up to the Ridge to cheer on those Huskers. GO BIG RED!!!

CORN HOLE TOURNAMENT SEP 15 AT 1:00

We are having an outside Cornhole Tournament on Sunday Sep 15 at 1:00.  Entry Fee is $30 per team. Winners gets 50% of the pot,  2nd place gets 30%, 3rd place gets 15%, 4th place gets 5%. This will be a double elimination tournament with 27 feet between boards. 32 team maximum. So please call us on 402-235-4653 to sign-up today to ensure your spot.

GLOW BALL TOURNAMENT SEP 20 AT DUSK

We have scheduled the final 2-Person Glow Ball Tournament for Friday Sep 20. Cost is $60 for a member team and $90 for a guest team. We will have a buffet before teeing off at DUSK. Please sign-up in the Pro Shop. Sign-up early as this tournament fills up fast.

PITCH PUTT & CHILI COOK OFF SUN SEP 29

Come join us Sunday Sep 29 at 2:00 for our first Pitch Putt & Chili Cook Off . Test you skills from hitting shots from 50, 100 and 150 yards out as well as chipping from off the green and a few putts. Earn points for each skill and take home the cash. Cost for the Pitch and Putt competition is $20 with winner taking 50% of the pot and 2^nd place 30% and 3^rd place 20%. We will have a Men’s and Ladies division.  And when you’re finished enjoy some great tasting chili and vote for your favorite. Please sign-up in the pro shop in advance to better assist us in planning this event.

TEXAS HOLDEM TUE OCT 1

All right poker fans, Texas HoldEm returns on Tuesday Oct 1 starting promptly at 7:30. Poker players enjoy Happy Hour rates when playing and the chance at winning prizes. If you like poker, Lake Ridge is the place to be on Tuesday nights.

SKY DIVERS JUMP AND GOLF OUTING FRI OCT 4

Weather permitting, the Sky Divers will jump onto the course this Friday Oct 4 at 10:00 followed by an 18 hole scramble. It’s not every day you get to see people jump from a perfectly good airplane and try  and hit a bullseye on hole #5 followed by 18 holes of golf. So if you have no plans, why not come watch the crazy people jump onto the course…

RIP GOLF TOURNAMENT SUN OCT 6

The  R.I.P. Tournament has been scheduled for Sunday Oct 6. Tee times start at 11:00. This is a handicap based tournament so everyone has a chance at winning. If you do not have a handicap, please let us know in advance so we can establish a handicap for you. Cost is $30 for members and $55 for guest.  Price includes golf, prizes and food. The sign-up sheet is located in the pro shop. Please sign up  in  advance to better assist us in planning this event.

ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET SAT OCT 19

Please mark your calendar for this year’s annual Awards / Members Appreciation Banquet to be held on  Saturday Oct 19. Social starts at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00 followed by the awards presentation. You don’t have to be a winner to attend. This is always a great evening and a great way to finish off the 2019 golf season.

ADULT HALLOWEEN PARTY FRI OCT 25

The annual Halloween Party will be held Friday Oct 26 starting at 9:00 in Caddies Lounge. We will have party games, costume contest and of course Karaoke. So get let’s your freak on and let’s party at the Ridge!       

KIDS HALLOWEEN PARTY SUN OCT 27

The annual Kids Halloween Party will be held on Sunday Oct 27 from 6:00 – 8:00. There will be games and a costume contest. We will also provide complimentary sugar cookies and apple cider. Hope to see you there.
