Congratulations to Don Thompson and Todd Berry for winning the Men’s Monday League. They beat Shane Kouba and Jason Cockle in a playoff to make it 6 league titles in a row. Ralph Keeler and Jeff Lickei beat Shawn Brannan and Brian Mohl in their playoff match to finish in 3rd place.
Ed Herring and Todd Brewer finished the Men’s Wednesday League regular season in 1st place. They will now play the 2nd place team of Calvin McWilliams and Joe Mangiamelli in the playoff. Brad McClatchey and Larry Welch finished in 3rd place and will play the 4th place team of Greg Page and Andy Kayhanfar in the playoff.
Congratulations to Calvin McWilliams for winning the Top Gun Award for the Men’s Wednesday League with 57 points. This is Calvin’s second time winning the Top Gun. Brett Hahn was the runner up with 51 points.

Would like to thank Tom Sorensen and his family for having the 16th Annual Kyle Sorensen Memorial Golf Outing this past weekend. The weather was perfect as over 140 golfers took to the course to play in the 4-person scramble Saturday morning and all day Sunday. Darts anyone? Come on up and enjoy a few beers, play some darts in Caddy’s Shack and listen to some of your favorite songs on the Jukebox. You can also download the AMI Jukebox app to your phone and play the jukebox from your phone. Just do a search for AMI Jukebox under your APPS store and download the app. Once you have downloaded the app, select Caddy’s Lounge as your location. It’s quick and easy to setup.

The final Glow Ball Tournament of the 2018 golf season has been scheduled for Friday Sep 14. Cost is $50 for a members team and $80 for a guest team. A buffet will be provided before we tee off along with raffle prizes. And let’s not forget the fireworks. Tee off will be at dusk which should be around 8:00 to 8:15. Glow ball fills up fast so please sign-up in the pro shop to ensure your spot.
The R.I.P. Tournament has been scheduled for Sunday Oct 7. Tee times start at 11:00. This is a handicap based tournament so everyone has a chance at winning. If you do not have a handicap, please let us know in advance so we can establish a handicap for you. Cost is $25 for members and $50 for guest. Price includes golf, prizes and food. The sign-up sheet is located in the pro shop. Please sign up in advance to better assist us in planning this event.
We are happy to announce that starting Saturday Sep 1 we have introduced our new weekend TWILIGHT GOLF SPECIAL. Every Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 you pay for 9 holes of golf with cart and you can play the rest of the day. Fall is a beautiful time of the year to be outside and it doesn’t get any better with unlimited golf. So take advantage while you can and get you’re golf fix on. We all know what awaits us in a few months’ time…
